Forgotten Feet Charity Sail from Lands End to John O’Groats

If the thought of cycling the 900 miles fills you with dread come sail with us instead.

With a fair wind we should get there quicker too.

I’d expect to make the 800 passage in around 4 to 5 days.

We’ll have a professional Skipper and other experienced sailors on board – unless you trust me to be your captain! (I have sailed before!!)

This will not be a pleasure cruise and will be a dry boat “no drinking on board”. We’lll save that for when we arrive in John O’Groats and celebrate being their before the cyclists.

No previous sailing is required but would be an advantage. We may have a training weekend before the actual event and this will be from Portsmouth in the Solent.

Depending on numbers and experience we will be chartering something like the Clipper 68 in the photo below.
